In november 2003 the people of Georgia were tired of the corrupt regime of the country and started a revolution against the goverment and the president of Georgia Eduard Shevardnadze. The "Rose Revolution" began and the people of Georgia won.
Mikhail Saakashvili became the new president of Georgia.
