Reality TV shows like, "The Ultimate Fighter," where contestants are coached by top UFC professionals and fight each other in hopes of obtaining a UFC contract, have helped to add popularity and respect to the sport. More gyms are opening and amateur fights are taking place in both large and small towns across the country.
