On December 16, 2009 more than 1,000 protesters participated in a confrontational mass action of non-violent civil disobedience under the name Reclaim Power!
The goal of the action was to take over the COP15 conference for one day and transform it into a Peoples’ Assembly in order to give a voice to those who are not being heard.
The protesters never succeeded in breaking the police barriers and getting inside the UN area.
