Maradona, 2006
Diego Maradona is considered by many fans and football aficionados to be the greatest player ever to play the game. For years, the whole world followed the charismatic footballer's life, from the height of his career - when he almost one-handed won the World Cup for Argentina in 1986 - until his fall from grace at the age of 39 in 2000 when he sought asylum in Cuba as he tried to overcome his battle with alcohol and drug abuse. In the summer of 2006, his fans were able to experience his football talent once again. Together with a handful of old teammates, Maradona toured Europe playing indoor football against European Old Boys national teams.
