After the typhoons

The first of the four typhoons to batter the Philippines happened in late September, when Ketsana drenched the island nation with its heaviest rainfall in 40 years. Eighty percent of Manila flooded and more than 420 people died.

Talim Island. 300 families are living on the island. 11 houses were destroyed because of heavy rain and a highere water level. The water level is about 1.5 meter highere than normal and the water pumps is still flooded.
